As an athlete, I’ve had multiple injuries. Stuff just happens when you push yourself.

Due to these injuries, along with decades of experience treating people of ALL fitness levels, I have created the Swish Fitness Membership program to help YOU. Over the past three (yes 3!) decades that I have been a Physical Therapist, I couldn't help but see patterns of the most common areas that need strengthening and lengthening. From this experience, I have tailored exercises that will help you feel great and get fit.

I love making exercises functional so you can relate everything back to your day to day life and activities. You might as well have fun while you're getting stronger!

My goal is to ensure you’re healthy and fit so you can enjoy your life and activities to the fullest.

Dawn’s Background

Dawn grew up on a farm just outside of Winnipeg, MB. Dawn graduated from the University of Alberta in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Shortly after graduation, she had the opportunity to work in clinics throughout New Zealand and Australia as well as across western Canada. These experiences provided exposure to many different perspectives and techniques which have served her well in taking care of her clients.

As a competitive athlete in Equestrian Show Jumping, Mountain Biking and Running, Dawn has had her fair share of injuries. She knows what it takes to recover from an injury or to simply get fit so that life is easier and more enjoyable. This has helped her shape the Swish Fitness program and philosophy. Exercises are functional - meaning they apply to everyday activities. As you get stronger, you'll be able to see how the Swish Fitness Classes help all aspects of your life!
